VPN disconnecting when charging?
Has anyone noticed the VPN disconnecting when charging the phone? Using IVPN, but I saw reports of Proton VPN too.
Happens every time. The VPN app has all permissions and unrestricted battery use.
I can’t enable “Always On VPN” because Android Auto needs the split bypass, and breaks if that is enabled.

The only time this happens to me is if I run a backup (settings > system > backup) and choose to back up the VPN app, which usually “reports no data to be backed up”, so I exclude the VPN app from being included in my backup. Are you running a backup nightly when you charge?
