I have discovered that in my "be an it dude that does all his own stuff and is on a path to self-host everything" that there is an occasional HARD requirement to use Windows to flash a thing to liberate it. I hate it. but I have cobbled together a B350m motherboard, a Ryzen 5 1600 (that I used to flash peoples' motherboards to use newer cpus) and 16gb of bargain bin ddr4 and am now installing... Windows 11 on it. It will sit in my closet on a 3d printed motherboard stand until I need it.
