Take regular VM snapshots and never forget that exploits can breach the VM

very rare for exploits that can breach a VM. Like once-every-10-years kind of rare. VMs really are the best “security for idiots” tool, but they are also fairly inconvenient. Just don’t put any sensitive private info in the VM. Assume it already has viruses contained in it.

Rather, malware detect the vm, assume a security lab testing environment and hold still.
