tinfoil hat time: I am reminded of reading how some rationalists argued for using bioweapons on “unaligned” frontier ai researchers, and also how the fbi has raided illegal suburban biolabs recently recently, and anthropic’s recent announcement that they’re starting a biolab. Probably completely unconnected, but something in the zeitgeist, at least.
