  That feeling when you're setting up a photo and your moobile starts buzzing like nobody's... ☢😳🪨 Fortunately not too spicy, but twice background level is noticeable :) #perthshire #scotland #radiacode #radiation #NORM #radon #geology #photography #OppoFindX9Pro #nature #citizenscience

A few snaps from this afternoon's stroll in (the remains of) Cloan Glen. Lovely sunlight. Très pastoral. #photos #OppoFindX9Pro #perthshire #strathearn #scotland #countryside

Well, this should keep me going for a wee while 😳 I am not an Apple fanboy. I am not an Apple fanboy. I am not an Apple fanboy... But still... toys, right? It might be good for astro and other photo processing, perhaps ;) Thinking back, my first ever x86 PC was an Elonex 486 with 8MB RAM and 80MB HD. The speed of restoring from TimeMachine over thunderbolt is equivalent to throwing 100 of those PCs out the window per second. Progress, I think it's called. #geek #toys #apple #macbook...

That Kinclaven The place is a bit of a cliché especially in May, but sometimes the dappled light, bluebells, trees and mood and compositions all coincide. Perfect. Prints etc: https://shiny.photo/gallery/kinclaven #photography #scotland #kinclaven #bluebells #woods #nature #landscape

I mean, I don't know if I should be budgeting £2k, £8k or £15k to turn this place around. That kind of error margin is intolerable, so I simply won't buy any more toys until a decent honest company comes forward, or the market gets regulated properly.

Aurora, Edinburgh Sometimes you just gotta sit on a bench beside the Observatory, eating fish & chips from a favoured chippy (Stefano's on Morningside Road) in a chilly -1ºC under light of a full moon whilst watching the remains of an aurora display as Orion rises. Fuji X-H2, 8-16mm @ 10mm, a 3-frame vertorama processed in DxO, Hugin and LuminarAI. #aurora #auroraborealis #edinburgh #scotland #NightPhotography #nightsky #photography #vertorama #astrophotography

Pure Landscape Total overcast serenity. Scots pine trees on a wee island on Loch Assynt, the far side of the loch fading into the mist/low cloud. Tranquil and then some.
