  In basically all private companies LLMs have been forced with no mercy by management, who LLM companies usually offer discounted prices for, and who've usually never even programmed or haven't done it in decades, and so they do this "use it or get fired" bullshit with them But libre/open source software is volunteer run and non-profit, no one there can be forced into using LLMs with that level of violence, and so what they're doing is basically just bribing leader figures...
