This house goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover. https://www.realestate.com.au/property/30-norval-cres-coolaroo-vic-3048/

Maybe this house from 1450 would look slightly less haunted if it wasn't for the random creepy decor. Though who wouldn't love Queen Victoria judging you from the end of the bed, creepy dog pillows, and cardboard cutouts flanking the fireplace? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/146935175#/?channel=RES_BUY

Today's house in Australia has all the patterns, and it's the first time I've seen faux fur covering the entirety of a bedroom floor. https://www.domain.com.au/property-profile/4-chudleigh-crescent-sassafras-vic-3787

It's a key requirement for any house that there should be space on the landing for your ostrich. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/156677861#/?channel=RES_BUY

Wow this ramshackle property is a real historic gem from (checks listing) 2012??? The interior also has quite the vibe, especially the bedroom. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1593-Mires-Rd-Mount-Juliet-TN-37122/80367311_zpid/

Grand Union Walk terrace houses were built in London in 1988 and are heritage listed. I would not want to try to climb those stairs. https://themodernhouse.com/sales-list/grand-union-walk-iii

Please don't. It's the gap on the left which baffles me the most. (Listing not included because it's just a bunch of marketing photos.)

Here's a classic, the saxophone house of Berkeley, California. The inside is surprisingly tame until you get to this weird trio of doors. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1985-Tunnel-Rd-Berkeley-CA-94705/24820805_zpid/

There is a lot going on in this fixer-upper but the main features, in my view, are the wicker basket-esque toilet nook, and the curvaceous wardrobe. https://www.domain.com.au/38-platt-street-waratah-nsw-2298-2019080247
