Is there a preferably FOSS (commercial OK) way to convert a scan of graph paper into a sprite? My son has been drawing pixel art ideas for video games by hand and I'm looking for a way to digitize them to use with Godot, etc, down the road.

OH: "You don't use AI for stuff like this? Like what, do you just read the docs yourself and just do it or something?"

Watching #SGDQ with my son and described part of my day job in #DevOps as like a TAS in that I'm scripting things that normally would take a human much longer to do, like building and serving a website from source.

I wonder at some point if us coffee enthusiasts will finally admit that for all the fancy pour over type brewing stuff made since, that they all require more work but they're not better than a French Press.

Playing Doom on Nextcloud is honestly way more fun to me than the shiny AI integrations.

I've heard someone say that the older you get, the more you appreciate P90 pickups and that's definitely been true for me.

I'm still salty about crucial/micron. I've been a customer of theirs for *decades*. I had a Micron laptop my freshman year of college (that ran Windows NT4). They were consistently the reasonably priced, reliable one in a market full of various quirks and shenanigans from vendors with far more name recognition.

Paying off my Southwest credit card and it'll be a hard sell to fly them again any time soon. They've managed to kill everything I liked about Southwest (free checked bags, family boarding, open seating). What airline are we feeling last nickel and dimed with these days? Alaska?

You ever been somewhere where you don't really speak the language so you kind of make it work with points and grunts, like when I, as a guitar player, ask the drummer to "be all shimmery with the shiny things there".

Lol, I love reading bad reviews of the new Mario movie. For me, it all the more affirms that they doubled down on making a movie for the fans and not for the critics. I loved it!
