    RE: https://infosec.exchange/@briankrebs/116558864224439236 So .. an organisation holding you to ransom shows you logs of your data being destroyed and you believe them? Even if they did actually destroy data, how do you know that they didn&amp;#39;t make a copy first, let alone the idea that logs cannot be fabricated by an enterprising individual. Paying seems counterproductive.
