• View post

I really wanna post more cursed Redcat screenshots, legitimately proud of this stupid project What's open: LibreWolf, showing my previous post, also an About window to show that it's a recent version from Alpine reposSystem Profiler, showing that this is Redcat, not Red StarWike, showing the Wikipedia page for Human rights in North Korea, to really hammer in that this isn't Red StarKonsole, showing git cloning the Redcat repo, followed by fastfetch (with a custom logo for style poin...

for any{one, thing} that doesn't know yet, death grips hosts all of their music on their site: https://thirdworlds.net/files/ NSFW warning: the uncensored NLDW cover is on it, so zach's dick is just there

for some reason the redstar install image won't boot now why did i have to delete the old installation :neocat_floof_explode:

  • View post

i should probably record my disinfection steps so it can be automated, hosting just the rootfs without any sort of build system feels wrong

  • View post

i wonder why the hell does redstar name its internal stuff in english i guess IT critters all over the world use english

  • View post

they didn't even change the package name for naenara lol

should i leave sogwang office (juche openoffice) in? might be tainted

looks like KDE is linked against "libsmctl.so" in red star, which is provided by "securityd" this might not be as trivial as anticipated gonna take a peek at it in ghidra

  • View post

:neocat_floof: <-- staring at the decompile and pretending to know what she's looking at god i haven't touched ghidra since i was 15

my framebuffer keeps flashing a solid color for like a µs or so but only on my external monitor, bunch of artefacts with OpenGL accelerated libvirt GPU too i don't know if i accidentally cooked the iGPU by having thermals scrape by TJUNCTION one too many times or if it's just the HDMI cable getting worn down with my batshit insane PC usage habits both are equally possible

  • View post

looks like there's forced dependencies for KDE suurely nothing bad will happen if i just remove the associated files and then nuke yum whatever, got a backup image, worth a try

  • View post

also in case any{one, thing}s curious about my redstar de-juche-fication workspace

recommended BGM for watching my redstar-related livetooting: https://kuryongdprk.bandcamp.com/album/-

  • View post

wait i'm doing it wrong i could just extract the KDE-related .rpm's onto a blank dir and end up with a probably servicable rootfs

looks like my (potential) endo responded to me after 3 months, wonder how much i'll wait for the next acknowledgement of my existance this time :neocat_floof_explode:

should i distribute the red star .iso in the repo? feels rude to waste 2.6G of codeberg's storage maybe i'll make the makefile fetch the image
