https://abc7.com/post/actor-christian-bale-opens-together-california-foster-care-village-palmdale-aimed-keeping-siblings/19816433/ huh... all I ever hear about Christian Bale is how rude he is, so this is nice. Now imagine if a single billionaire paid taxes, how many foster care villages we could build like this.

Every time I'm downstairs trying to write, my younger dog Gaia is hovering right there, demanding pets 😑 and if I give her any more attention, she just keeps demanding more of it 😩

I'm trying to rewatch the first half of #AmericanHorrorStory : Delicate before I watch the second half that just released but holy shit it's so boring. Every episode: mystery monster baby! weird shit keeps happening but everyone just thinks I'm crazy and talks down to me! Oh no! OVER AND OVER. Yes, AHS often gets very zany and nonsensical but at least there's SOME interesting parts to that. Delicate is just the same tired "Rosemary's baby&quo...

Tried to make cauliflower tikka masala, but i didn't realize until I'd already bought the ingredients that the recipe calls for a pressure cooker which I don't have, so I tried to make do just sautéeing in a pan 😩 it's kind of sweet and spicy so I know my kids won't touch it, but hopefully my husband will at least 🤷‍♀️

I like how i can remove the "ai assist" button #Samsung #android forced into the emoji spot on my phone keyboard, but as soon as I search within the keyboard (it fire an emoji or gif) it's shoved back in there and CAN'T be removed 🙃

lol wow fuck this thing called "DiceFM," I just had to use them to buy tickets to an all ages edm show at Holocene, a #portland club that does EDM shows a lot, and they didn't say until AFTER I bought them that apparently I need to download their fucking app just to access the tickets (: Yay unavoidable data tracking!

Ngl it's pretty depressing that pretty much any time I'm engaging with people outside of a leftist-focused environment like bsky or Mastodon and the topic of #AI comes up, it seems like the other people have no idea how harmful it is and they get very defensive if I try to explain why it's bad. It's important we not silo ourselves into thinking the average person gives a shit about anything that doesn't directly, negatively affect them (or even if it does,...

A panel from the #graphicNovel adaptation of @neilhimself 's book #Coraline drawn by P Craig Russell that immediately made me think of " #aiArt" 😏 (I hope I'm tagging the real Neil Gaiman and not an imitator... We gotta get him off mastodon.social if he is; half the smaller instances have already defederated from @mastodon.social for not having sufficient moderation 😅)

I had a dream (among my usual dead parents ones) that I had a post on Tumblr go viral in a bad way on my Fractured Heart account, even though all I post there is innocuous stuff about my gay romance webnovel (which you can read the first eight chapters of for free at https://www.fracturedheart.net 😜) , because a bunch of snarky "leftists" decided to interpret something I wrote about Theo's life experiences being different than Lys's because Theo is half-Asian wh...

Yeah... no stream today, sorry guys. On top of being super tired from staying up late working on PTA stuff, our ISP apparently fucked everything up "enhancing" the network so my internet keeps cutting out 🙃

I definitely didn't have a dream that gave me another alternate universe idea for my gay romance story where this time Theo and Lys are partners at an agency that hunts demons, and Theo is a "summoner" who uses ritualistic magic to force demons, ghosts and other malignant paranormal entities to take physical form so that Lys the "subjugator" can fight and weaken them until the summoner can completely banish them, nope definitely not!

Whelp sure enough, even though our split level ac was working when we finally had a hvac guy out to look at it, now that it's in the 90s today, the ac isn't doing shit. Matthew thinks it might be some circuit board part that needs to be replaced... which he said is like $700 💀 but it's only going to continue to get more and more unbearably hot, so if it actually works, it's worth it...

I love my kids so much 😂 apparently matthew bought a dragonfruit, which aeden (messily) cut up and took outside along with carrots to share with his friend, and when I called him back inside he was carrying around part of the rind, I said "what are you doing? throw that away" "no! the fruit was so good, I want to reward it by turning it into a statue!" 😂
