🤔 I wonder if pkg-config (PC) and Ant could be extended so that Ant can detect external task providers automatically. PC allows one to set arbitrary variables in their configuration files. Ant supports specifying external task providers with the `-lib` flag. #Ant #Java #pkg_config #pkgconfig #PackageManagement

As for what prompted this: I am working on a setup hook for Ant in Nixpkgs, and one of the things it does is traverse the ANT_HOME of the package's dependencies to find external task providers automatically

Did Niklas Luhmann write in English? I'm seeing some articles listed as being authored by him without a translator listed: * https://www.jstor.org/stable/1354436 * https://www.jstor.org/stable/469391 (This is probably futile, not sure where else to ask except for maybe Reddit?) #NiklasLuhmann #sociology #Luhmann

I just released a new VSCode extension called vscode-folgezettel. https://github.com/tomodachi94/vscode-folgezettel It provides a small set of filename-based commands for creating and navigating folgezettel-style notes in a zettelkasten, as described by @bobdoto in this blog post: https://writing.bobdoto.computer/how-to-use-folgezettel-in-your-zettelkasten-everything-you-need-to-know-to-get-started/ #zettelkasten #folgezettel #VSCode #vscode_extension #FoamVSCode

I endorse the following candidates. I believe that we share core values (though it's possible we disagree slightly on implementation): * cafkafk (@cafkafk) * jopejoe1 (@jopejoe1) * leona-ya * niklaskorz (@niklaskorz) * nyabinary * pluiedev (Listed alphabetically, not necessarily in any order of "preference") Edit: this was made off the top of my head. I possibly missed some people. Please let me know if I should add someone else. #nix #nixos

Fedi, please help me out—where is that online tool that lets you find blogs of folks you follow on Mastodon? I swear I found it a week or so ago, but now I'm out of luck... (Yes, I know there's a PHP command line tool, and I'll use that as a last resort)
