CEO who has only been in the position 9 months can’t handle the pressure and will quit in December. This is a clear indicator that I no longer have to give a shit till January.

The Australian national alert test will sound an alarm on every mobile around the country today. Compared to Japan’s screech of immediate death, it’s a cheerful nursery rhyme.

Just back from a visit to my back guy. Consultation, X-rays, rehabilitation session costing just ¥1,910. That’s $11.66 freedom bucks. Future rehabilitation sessions just a few dollars. But on the flip side this weak joke of a country is incapable of waging and supporting illegal wars around the globe. So, there’s that I guess.

So last week a fucker from our parent company jumped to a conclusion and said within earshot of me/about me “Gaijin always do that” while I proceeded to do the opposite. Today said fucker is up to his neck in issues with our New Zealand team. Would really help if he had a native English speaker on his side. Fuck him. Not my problem.

A neck pillow is overkill on a flight to Okinawa, but … night shift … so every minute of sleep counts. Luckily my pillow folds down to a compact size, more a neck brace than a pillow.

What is it with tourists and Ginza Itoya? My niece wants to visit, but I’m convinced I could take her to Loft, Hands or literally any other stationery store and she’d have more than enough buying options without traveling to Ginza and fighting 1000’s of other tourists who worship there.
