Tending to my cuttings and you know what? Plants are amazing. Cut their head off and so many of them are like, "Fine. I'll grow feet."

A little bit of my work in progress. Oddly, this will be for a video related to gardening. All the pics and art of Morty (Dyscophus guineti) that I've been sharing lately are going into it, because she helps make my seed starting soil. #humanMadeArt #frog #frogs #sciArt #gardening

Hey, #genX. This is bothering me. I know there's a lot of drawing books that leave space for you to draw your own thing, but do you remember a coloring book series (may have started with an A) that gave you prompts and a blank area, to draw your own coloring book? Kind of like this? #coloringBook

Have you ever seen the show upload? Because I'm sad that I can't be the black and white avatar of a flapper causing scandal in Heaven forever.

So, why do Venus flytraps need to eat? Someone asked me this, after seeing a page of the zine. Turns out that even though my project isn't finished, that question has been answered :). It's just that a ton of more fascinating stuff is coming. #sciArt #carnivorousPlants #zine #venusFlytrap #humanMadeArt https://tippitiwichet.wordpress.com/bog-monsters-how-carnivorous-plants-do-the-things-they-do/

A pox on the makers of adhesive for labels on glass jars that seem super reusable. May their hot water always run out before their bath is full.

Digging through my lichen photos for today's art reference pic. Don't worry, Morty will still be in it. #lichensubscribe #goblincore #nature #mosstodon

I finally drew Morty the mock tomato frog. She always seemed like too much of a challenge, but now she seems like good practice. I have so many projects I'm working on, but I kind of want to draw her again, and maybe write a poem. ETA - almost forgot. Wrote about her once: https://tippitiwichet.wordpress.com/2023/09/23/my-recovery-garden-is-persephones-garden/ #art #humanMadeArt #sciArt #frogs #pets

Help. I need feedback. I am failing at finding income. I can't drive, I have a movement disorder. If I were to offer prints of the following two pieces of art, on Bristol paper, low quality prints enhanced with multimedia, including UV reactive glow in the dark paint, what would you be willing to pay? They are #Persephone and #Hades he is hung facing her. #art #mythology #GreekMythology #humanMadeArt

@rasterweb@mastodon.social Like it or not, paint has lead in it and it's here to stay. Like it or not, the coke in Coke is here to stay. Like it or not, women will never be allowed to vote. Like it or not, eh you get the point.

Kind of surprised this isn't the top trending song everywhere about right now. I'm afraid of Americans too, Mr. Bowie, sir. https://youtu.be/LT3cERVRoQo?si=_TxYRHsjoSrvgC_f

When I look at the people I know who are really motivated to be rich, they all have one thing in common. They suck at budgets. They seem to NEED to be rich, because they absolutely can't survive on what everyone else can. We really need to stop trusting them to do the government budgeting things.

Excellent video on learning to love your heavy clay soil. Listening to it while I add layers of mulch and branches topped with handfuls of dirt to extend my garden today. I'll have a progress update soon. https://youtu.be/aWcU8r6sxVo?si=qsYysrlrNBdJPbIX

Hey, are you one of my friends who has heard me talk about growing a fairy castle and have you been waiting on me to finally get around to showing what I'm talking about? Wait no longer! #gardening #permaculture https://tippitiwichet.wordpress.com/2026/04/14/growing-a-fairy-castle/

Listening to a podcast about reptiles and what not to waste your money on. This kid is so cute. He's bragging about the deals he got and I'm like "Ha ha. I shall purchase one bag of coir. It shall last me a year." Tank kit and substrate were less than $100. Everything else is free. Saw this species of snake listed for sale about $80. Lol.

Dang. The local pet stores aren't hiring. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe I should try again later though.
