If you look carefully, the river (stream? ravine?) simply stops. There's usually no water for 6 months during the dry season, and it's perfect for walking dogs. Then rainy season starts and it's a river again for 6 months. But for the last two years, the water has been erratic during the rainy season. Maybe it's one of the subtle effects of climate change or maybe the water company has been pumping too much water out of the underlying aquifer. Either way, not good. Walking dog...
