    RTS game but you don&#39;t have a real-time map view and instead have to rely on intelligence reports, field observations, surveillance, ... all of which have varying quality. All communication needs to be performed via some sort of medium, ranging from runners to radio, all with their own delays and risks for interception. Troops may missinterpret or refuse commands, and they may start improvising in unanticipated situations. Of course elint exists and so troops may also need to go radio silent...

    Why does android stop displaying its clock while a notification pops up? There is nothing about a notification that makes me want to not know the time. They&#39;re not even drawing the notification in the same place as the clock. But they conciously decided to remove it anyway. Doing nothing would have been better. Why?
