    We lost our ancient cat two days ago. I&#39;m sad, but we knew he wasn&#39;t going to be long for this world, as the 23 year old had a laundry list of medical issues and was a cat in palliative care - we took him in as part of the Cats Claw Foundation and turned a smelly old hobo into a spoiled perfect son with shining fur enjoying the best final months a cat could get. Goodbye Mirek, I&#39;ll miss your stubbornness and headbutts that felt like getting punched in the face.
