  @TTimo@mastodon.social Europe is doing better so far than the US. Though its under the same kinds of attacks. Russia alone has been targetting many European nations with the same kinds of propaganda, subversion, bribes and blackmail, and chaos sowing, as they have against the US. With the US they correctly identified our Achilles Heel and exploited it successfully. I am less familiar with what those weakest points might be in Europe.

  @raganwald I've kinda always viewed the strategic purpose of HN is to serve as a kind "shiny object" lure by YC (VC) to draw in young impressionable software engineers, to help seed or staff startups that they can invest in -- buy cheap lottery tickets in. Thats the ends, rest is just a means.
