the whole &quot;use llms for testing / boring work&quot; is a very revealing attitude. the notion that things like tests and build systems weren&#39;t important has been around for a long time, and this suggestion is just a furtherance of that view on engineering. while we can&#39;t hold the entirety of other departments in our head, a healthy respect and value for what others are providing is essential to doing good work. 1/2
