I started playing #RPGs in the 1980s, when the only form of social media was #WhiteDwarf magazine. When I first got on the Internet, WWW had not yet been invented — my first experience of online forums was on #USENET. Forums blossomed through the 2000s, but were eclipsed by the walled gardens of <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/BigTech" class="m

    @Printdevil This weekend I will playtest Dædalus' Wondrous Works with a group of friends... 3 of whom are #Greek. I'm prepared for a critique of the license I took with their beloved #myths and #lore. It's like cooking pasta for your Italian friends. https://strangequarkgames.itch.io/daedalus-wondrous-works #TTRPG #DungeonsAndDragons #DnD #Moldvay #Basic #BX #LabyrinthLord #OldSchoolEssentials #OSE #OSR

    Le problème de la #surveillancepricing a touché #SNCF @groupeSNCF Hier, j'ai consulté le site web de SNCF : le billet de train coûtait 44 €. Aujourd'hui, je suis retourné sur le même site, le prix avait doublé à 88 €. J'ai essayé d'effacer les cookies, même prix. J'ai essayé d'utiliser un VPN, même prix. J'ai essayé un autre navigateur web, et le prix est redescendu à 44 €. Ils utilisent donc l'empreinte digitale du navigateur...

    This weekend, #Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir celebrated his 50th birthday with a cake decorated with symbols of violence and colonisation, topped with a noose representing the #apartheid law recently passed by #Israel that allows the execution of #Palestinian detainees. This would be a good time to add your name to the petition demanding Israel's exclusion from #Eurovision https://action.wemove.eu/sign/2026-05-Israel-out-Eurovision-petition-EN

    Watched the first three episodes of the #Daleks Master Plan back-to-back. I enjoyed seeing #NicholasCourtney 's first on-screen appearance in #DoctorWho. Unfortunately Bret Vyon's story arc remains incomplete — the character dies in still-missing episode 4. #SpecialEffects and model shots were pretty good for the 1960s but not referenced at all in the end credits. #Dalek #DrWho #lostepisodes

    I commute every day by #bicycle and I decided to buy a new #bike. In the past I would have gone online and read some #reviews and comparisons and made a choice. Now that is nearly impossible, because so many of the "reviews" are #AI #LLM #slop summaries of, I dunno, forum posts about a completely different bike or something. Instead I have e-mailed a list of my requirements to my #local #bikeshop and asked them what's available. Should have done that first. #deadinte...

    1/ This week's #DCC #session was a comedy of fumbles. The party are in the undercity and have just arrived at the shore of the bricked-over and forgotten River Flēot. Lurking in the depths is the water hag Peg Powler. As Powler's hideous visage emerges from the waters, the party move to defend themselves. /cont'd #DCCRPG #DungeonCrawlClassics #TTRPG
