  Sorry for the complaint post but I probably should let other people know. I just realized that the prices advertised on greengeeks.ca are in USD. That’s not indicated on the web site, nor in the billing section of my portal after I signed up, nor if I print my bill. It’s only indicated in the email they sent me. When on a .ca web site, one expects to see CAD prices. If that’s not the case, it should be clear. Are there laws about this? In fact, they advertise the same prices on greengeeks.ca...

  The one issue that I have with Mastodon is the lack of timeline syncing between clients. I access Mastodon from different platforms. My app of choice on each platform is not necessarily cross-platform. So every time I have to tediously scroll and find where I was in my timeline. The API supports a marker to remember the timeline position. Is the issue that clients don’t use it and implement their own scheme?

  I rarely write app reviews but I just submitted one for the ChargePoint app because the new version is an ugly cross-platform rewrite. It doesn’t feel like an iOS app anymore. Come to think of it, it doesn’t feel like an Android app either. And it has some issues. I don’t mind cross-platform toolkits, but if you’re going to do that, do it right.
