𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟮𝟱 The two major quests were completed in relatively quick fashion: Freeing the Breakers at Devar-Toi in order to save the Beam and saving Stephen King from getting run over by a van so he can continue writing Gan's Song. Each of those came at a terrible price and the ka-tet is no more. So what's next? There's still so much book to go - practically another entire novel's worth! Picking up The Dark Tower at Part Three, Ch III: New York Again (Roland Shows ID) #TheDarkTow...

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟮𝟬 I have never enjoyed not enjoying a book as much as I'm not enjoying The Dark Tower. The mood is so bitter here at the end of all tihngs. We've recently lost a beloved character in a painstakingly drawn out manner and now, during the quest to save King, we're tipped off that someone else is going to be sacrificed in the process. What gives? I start Part Three, Ch II: Ves’-Ka Gan. #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟭𝟵 In a series that featured human/spider hybrids, insane wizards and psychotic intelligent trains, I didn't expect an unhappy Jewish housewife to play a heroic role in the saga! I finish off Part Three, Ch I: Mrs. Tassenbaum Drives South. #TheDarkTower #StephenKing [image upload not working on social.horrorhub.club today. Will upload 1719-01 later]

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟭𝟯 I dreaded picking up The Dark Tower today. I knew Eddie's demise happened in this book. I just didn't realize it occurred so soon. The sense of adventure is gone. Now it's just sorrowful mourning. I pick up at Part Two, Ch XII: The Tet Breaks. #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟬𝟲 Continuing with The Dark Tower, Part Two Ch X: The Last Palaver (Sheemie's Dream). I don't like the name of this chapter "Last Palaver"! I still have about two months to go in this book, but the finality of this lengthy journey is starting to hit me! #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟳𝟬𝟰 I finish off The Dark Tower, Part Two, Ch VIII "The Gingerbread House". For many pages now, Roland and the ka-tet listened to hours of Ted Brautigan's tape recordings in which he spoke not only of his personal story, but everything he knows of the Devar-Toi prison, the Breakers and heck, even of The Dark Tower itself. #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝟴𝟬 I spend some quality time with The Dark Tower today as I finish off this lengthy chapter, Part One: Ch V: 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘺 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦. When we last left Jake, he had just walked out of a lengthy, fluorescent-lit tunnel under New York City and into a jungle with a FREAKIN' DINOSAUR! #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝟳𝟵 I crack open The Dark Tower at Part One: Ch V: 𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘺 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦. I don't know who the lion is that's sleeping tonight, but I bet I'm about to find out! So far, we've spent final moments with Pere Callahan, Eddie & Roland in Maine and Susannah watching Mia give birth to a demon spider baby. The only major ka-tet member we haven't seen yet is Jake (and Oy!) #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝟳𝟯 I'm on my fourth day with The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower. I finish off Part One, Ch III "Eddie Makes a Call" where Eddie & Roland, who are back in Maine 1977, decide to give their old pal John Cullum a call to help them out with a real estate transaction. #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝟳𝟮 It turns out that an astral-projected Roland was actually communicating with Pere Callahan during his final moments as he and Eddie got caught up in some sort of todash wave. I continue reading The Dark Tower at Part One, Ch III "Eddie Makes a Call". #TheDarkTower #StephenKing

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝟳𝟬 It's a glorious day when I get to begin the next tome in my Stephen King journey! And I've finally, after 2 years, reached the end of The Dark Tower main saga. This ranks as the fifth longest book (by page count) in King's bibliography, so I'll be here for a while. Like many, I nabbed this when it first came out in 2004, raced through to the end, and other than that now infamous ending, I remember none of it. So a new experience awaits! #TheDarkTower #S...
