Are there any open commissions in the Fediverse for a minimalistic logo? Might consider a logo just for fun/hobby (for on t-shirt or cap) based on my owl on ice photo. AI is tempting, but yeah….

Amaze! Amaze! Amaze! Between the rain showers, we managed to pop outside for a moment and, in the space of half an hour, we spotted a black woodpecker and a western polecat 🥰. #Bird #Birds #mammal #mammals #Nature #Wildlife #NaturePhotography

Sometimes I see a photo without credits and I just have to find out who the photographer and what the backstory is. Wildlife photographer Pete G. Arnold captured this perfect moment with burrowing owls by putting a GoPro camera near their burrow on the edge of Cheyenne, and setting it to take photos every five seconds. The photo circulating on social media is a cropped version of the original. https://cowboystatedaily.com/2024/08/11/given-a-gopro-camera-tiny-wyoming-burrowing-owls-take-aweso...

@chris_colvin@mastodon.social ditching an old main account of google. just keeping secondary account for posting of youtube clips of bird observations. Hardest is to ditch google maps.... working on that.

    We took a detour to a our holiday home to visit a Eurasian Eagle-Owl with 2 juveniles. A lifer. What a beauty 🥰 Edit: 3 juveniles. Third is hidden behind/under adult. #Bird #Birds #Featherverse #BirdsOfFediverse #BirdsOfMastodon #BirdPhotography #Birding #BirdWatching #Nature #Wildlife #NaturePhotography

We arrived at our holiday apartment this afternoon. The host told us the wolf has been around with pity in his voice. My daughter and looked at each other with twinkle in our eyes. In this area chances aren’t great to actually see one…. But you never know.

Ordered at rituals. Day later they report a data breach. Probably not my data, but from now I going to enter alternative first names, date of birth and fake phone numbers at webshops when mandatory. So please dear Fediverse supply me with a list of alias first names when ordering online….
