Why is my breadmaker warm? Oh that's right - I put it on just after breakfast. #duh

Just remembered another thing that irks me about Kmart. They want you to enter or exit the store on the right, not on the left. Yes, it's a weird thing to bother me, but we have enough problems with pedestrians in Australia who try to keep right instead of left that we really don't need retail stores doing it, too!

I shouldn't be surprised. USB 3 SD card reader is about 3 times faster than the USB connection to my camera.

SBS World Movies is showing "The Fifth Element" again. It just started, right now!

My favourite coffee van was missing at the markets this morning. I bought some from the new one in its place but it was a lot more expensive and wasn't any better. Don't think I'll be buying from them again. Yes, I know coffee prices are going up and going up fast.

I get tired of the expectation that I have to be good at doing something. Tired at how we internalise these expectations, too. Let me be mediocre at a hobby! Let me stay there! I don't have to grind hours and hours to get "better"! And this is as much me telling my sub-conscious, too.

Getting the idea that the US has still not grasped the fact that their current problems in the middle east can largely be traced back to what they did to a democratic and modern Iran more than 50 years ago.

RE: https://social.coop/@cwebber/116517820260451706 Literally being told "The second best time is now" helped me through the first days of my egg cracking. I was on HRT in 6 weeks of that day. #trans

Trying to get back into a routine resembling what used to be normal. Okay, sleeping in didn't help that, but I've breakfasted and done my morning meds so there's that.

Looking to sell my Arturia KeyLab 49 Essential MIDI keyboard. Anyone here perhaps interested in it before I brave FB Marketplace? Pickup in Sydney, I'm afraid.

Huh. WebStorm can't do a "git pull origin". It requires a branch. That's a fail.

Potentially unpopular take. As good as "Golden" is (and it is very good), "Free" is a better song. And so is "This Is What It Sounds Like". Especially when watched in context, in the movie. #KpopDemonHunters

I think AliExpress has given iMile a kick up the arse. All packages now arrived and the courier even rang the buzzer, though he didn't stick around to say why - I only knew when I got the email. I still wish AliExpress would ditch iMile.

RE: https://sfba.social/@drahardja/116121895553419056 This should be a catastrophic reputation loss for this company and cause it to lose multiple contracts and attract multiple lawsuits. But I bet it won't. :-(

Item on SBS News about proposed high-speed rail for Sydney. Estimated cost: $9 billion. For perspective, Sydney's WestConnex _road_ tunnels was also estimated to be $9 billion. I'd say the HSR would be good value!
