@alexadeswift@lgbtqia.space @FediThing@social.chinwag.org @BylinesScotland@mastodon.social Then the 5th August thing An entire demographic is being punished that day, by having rights & protections they've relied on for decades removed Possibly for the actions of a few, possibly because of some imagined crime I still don't know why this is happening & I have asked I can't think of a single time when an entire group of people were treated this way without referring to WWII...

@alexadeswift@lgbtqia.space @FediThing@social.chinwag.org @BylinesScotland@mastodon.social What happens next is usually a screaming match, videos on YouTube, lots & lots of publicity, while people misapply the bits of law they like & ignore the bits they dont Things most trans people are desperate to avoid, especially those in the early days of ttansition The plan doesn't seem to be to have us arrested It seems to be to make life intolerable so we stop trying It's persecution...

#Petition #Palantir #Burnham A major investigation just exposed how Palantir’s NHS data platform, which cost £330 million, is a GIANT waste of money, with swathes of NHS staff barely using it because it’s so rubbish What’s more, the evidence used to ‘prove’ its benefit is apparently totally flawed and full of errors Yet this controversial company still has access to our patient data End Palantir’s contracts with the NHS & police Please consider adding your name https://act.38degrees.o...

#Petition #UK The UK #Shooting lobby is pushing to legalise shooting wild Parakeets Just what we need, a bunch of hooray Henrys with 12 bores, wandering around the countryside shooting anything colourful Now, Parakeet numbers have increased & they can damage crops & compete with native birds But letting hunters blast at them for sport is not the answer Wildlife management should be by careful, humane science, not shooting for fun Please consider adding your name https://act.38deg...
