  This has been memoryholed, but when the Covid vaccine was first announced, the liberals said that they WEREN'T going to get it. This was towards the end of Trump's first term, and he initiated Project Warp Speed to get the vaccines created quickly. All the liberals said they would never get the "Trump vax."   I am a fan of books and reading and listening to audiobooks. But if you ever want an terrible literature experience. listen to Librivox audiobook recordings. User-submitted readings with crappy audio quality, terrible pacing, mispronounced words, monotone speech, no excitement for the material whatsover. What makes it terrible is that is the primary source to listen to public domain classics, but they are all unlistenable

  I don't hate Minds. I love it here. I don't blame the management for diminishment in traffic, that's beyond their control. I completely understand if there's not enough business to maintain the site. Remove features, make it bare bones if you have to. The tokens economy is broken now with the collapse of crypto.   We have this trans person that comes into my work sometimes (MtF, top surgery or more). I guess he used to work at my store, because all of the workers know him. They all act like they are so happy to see him every time he comes in. I have to wonder just how much is an act. Not an act for him, per se.   I finally finished Hyperion. Sci-fi book by Dan Simmons. Except I didn't really, because it's the first book in a series, and the first one didn't conclude anything at all.
