@overcastfm@mastodon.social One thing that's been missing since the big rewrite last year: when Play Top Episode Next is off, after an episode ends and playback stops, you can no longer click an AirPod or press play in Control Center to manually begin playback of the top episode. I miss that capability. Otherwise, really happy with the progress!

I don't think anyone I know here is active in gamedev, but just in case, you might want to jump on this job post. (Or share it with any gamedev folks you know!) This project is trying to do a few ambitious things, not least of all is come up with something better than git, natively integrated into the creative workflow inside a game engine. Great opportunity to stretch both your low-level code & GUI design muscles. https://www.inkandswitch.com/jobs/godot-ide-engineer/

🫠 https://automerge.org A brand-new website for Automerge, designed by Todd Matthews and built by yours truly. Featuring a playful interactive demo, beautiful illustrations, an emphasis on the people behind the project, and so many subtle details, assembled by a custom static site generator (the same one powering the new Ink & Switch website). There's a lot more coming — improved docs, most of all. But this is a big step and I'm thrilled to share it with you.

What an ignominious end. Flash deserved so much better. https://techcrunch.com/2026/02/02/adobe-animate-is-shutting-down-as-company-focuses-on-ai/
