watching an old documentary on body modifications to make people look more animalistic and the narrator being like "she wants to live her life with leopard spots even though she's never seen a leopard in real life." Like. You don't have to have stood next to your kintype to have a connection to it so that felt like a very bizzare argument to make :wolf_laff:

wild to me how they just enacted a new requirement for food stamps in my area, you must be working 30h a week or making 217 dollars a week, but you can't make too much money or you don't qualify. They found a way to cut the budget it seems by fucking over the people the most in need, as per usual (the unemployed and unhoused). I hope people realize that and turn that around very quickly, its scary to watch things go downhill even in a more 'liberal' area.

My doctor reccomended that I do a low-carb diet for health reasons, was wondering if anyone has recipes in this vein they really like? I like to cook a lot so I'm down for things that seem a bit more experimental!

~Introductory post!!~ Hi Everyone, I am Coyote! I'm a polyam polytherian living in the western united states! I technically have another account but thought I could post more furry/therian centric things here than on my other server >:3 I, like a lot of creatures on mastodon, am a dragon >:3 I just kind of had that realization a few weeks ago and am still working out a lot of the details about myself and what it means for me. One of the things I love talking about though...

went to goodwill today to find some more fem clothes (I'm kind of experimenting with gender stuff rn!) and there were. 10 Mormons on the store also trying things on me with my cart full of very feminine clothing as a very masc presenting person just standing there waiting and then. they ask me if I found anything good hdkfjfj I was like.. yep! and then they begin to ask me if I have ever talked to missionaries before and like if I belong to a church... upon which I'm of course like no...
