#AlternateFridayMusic #Liar One of my fave #SistersOfMercy songs. https://youtu.be/9wV9HYN1eZc You bought a mask, I put it on. You never thought to ask me if I wear it when you're gone. I don't exist when you don't see me. I don't exist when you're not here.

@tc_morekindness@c.im this kinda feels like an infomercial, but I mostly trust the guy who does this channel to do some deep analysis. And since we've been talking about battery backups, this felt relevant to your interests. https://youtu.be/8tD3x4GWt3A

I posit that app icons serve 2 purposes. 1. Ideally, to convey some aspect of what the app does. 2. To provide a consistent visual for the user to make it easy to find the app on a crowded field of icons. So, having said that, WHY THE FUCK do companies keep changing the icons of their core apps?? (Looking your way Google) Are you purposefully trying to hide your products from me and make me hunt for them? 😡 #graphicDesign #UX #Google #Whyyyyyy

@APBBlue Chat, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar... they all just changed. Some more than others, but they all changed. And not for the better.

#JukeboxFridayNight #DogsAndCatsAndOtherPets I have angered the owner of the hashtags. As my repentance, I hereby delete my offensive post and replace it with an image of Mr. Astley.

Woke up with Blue Cheer's cover of “Summertime Blues" stuck in my head. Went down a rabbit hole of late 60s #psychedelia / #HeavyBlues / #ProtoMetal stuff. Got reminded of a lot of bands I'd forgotten about. - The Blues Magoos - Blue Cheer - Nazz - MC5 - The Amboy Dukes - Count Five - Twentieth Century Zoo Maybe I'll do a #MyMisspentYouth podcast playlist mix of this stuff at some point. I don't think I've done a specific episode dedicated to...

As a person who has color related vision issues, I frequently come across #bandcamp pages which seem to have been purposefully designed to make readability as terrible as possible. It would be really super awesome if there was a personal preference setting somewhere in bandcamp to be able to turn off custom color themes and set one "preferred personal theme" that would be applied to every artist's page. Or at least like, a toggle in the corner of every artist'...

@psistarpsiii Not very helpful suggestion: use signal or some other platform besides sms, if you can get them all set up with it. 😐 I dream of a day I get my whole family to stop using SMS. 🤞

#TuneTuesday #UnexpectedWhiplash I've talked about this before, and I'm not sure I'd call it "whiplash" but this song feels like a couple songs stitched together. Beach Boys - Good Vibrations https://song.link/y/apBWI6xrbLY
