Just finished reading The AI Con by @emilymbender@dair-community.social and @alexhanna A fantastic book dismantling AI hype and talking about a more human future for AI. It’s refreshing to read, so many business meetups I attend are caught up with the AI dream, it’s good to take a hard, critical look at this.

Just watched The Assembly with Nicola Sturgeon and @stephenfry. A joyful, intelligent programme, well worth a watch. Some great questions & the performance of I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free at the end of Stephen’s episode was beautiful. #itv

But why in this modern age does the BBC still not link to the website? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr411ndee7yo The Die Zeit website appears to be https://www.zeit.de/wissen/2026-04/nsdap-mitgliederkartei-karteikarten-familienmitglieder-suche

RE: https://front-end.social/@hdv/116421322111428599 I love this! I agree everyone needs easier ways to publish on the web. Tools like WordPress are ubiquitous, but complex for most folk. What are the simplest tools for people to publish to the web? Or do we need new tools? And how can hosting companies help make hosting this easier, lowing the barrier to those that don’t know how to self host?
