bluhtnshualsot I wish I could just Make A Decision so I can get my life out of this fucking rut it's been in for years now. But I really should not make a decision like moving to Germany or whatever lightly, it would be very stupid to do that. So I'm just sitting here stewing in my own shit, annoyed that I can't do anything but wait. It sucks.

Hammering away at a new design for the lichat website. I really want it to give a sorta queer, non-corporate, and fun vibe, so there's a lot of purposefully broken conventions going on. Still not finalised, of course, but I'm pretty happy with the overall direction so far.

lmao @ people praising linked in for adding an "ai slop" report button, when in all likelihood that button is just used to mark posts so they can tell their own AI not to train on those messages. folks are gonna do their classification for them for free! another genius move by big tech

It's nice! It's motivating! If you're curious about Lichat: https://shirakumo.org/docs/lichat And if you want to read the spec (I honestly encourage you to do so, I think it's one of my best works):...

Personally I... really don't think I want to watch any book of Gibson's as a movie. I find that the strength in his stories is entirely within the way he is able to make your imagination do all the work of detailing out the environments, the characters, the looks, the feeling. Seeing a particular interpretation of all of that put visually like this immediately makes me go :nallears:
