    @twp@hachyderm.io I bought the first 96 GB for my build+NAS server a year ago for $300 I bought the second 96 GB a month ago for $1000 I bought a laptop this month because the maker had memory in inventory for $170 USD per 32GB stick (when purchased with a laptop). I would have preferred to buy an AMD CPU+GPU system but it was 1.25 times more expensive for the same performance. (Also, I can put a laptop in my backpack and get on a plane if things get bad enough over here.)

    I don&amp;#39;t consider myself queer, only an ally. Many people have assumed I&amp;#39;m queer on first meeting &amp;quot;because you&amp;#39;re so comfortable living in your own body!&amp;quot; I figure US male socialization/upbringing is broken, and I discovered how to escape. That has kept me from getting dates many times over the years.

    Just had my first meeting where someone asked ChatGPT a technical question and turned up the volume so the rest of us could hear its (incorrect) answer. The answer was wrong because the question was subtly wrong, but golly I do not want non-consensual ChatGPT in my meetings.
