  Do you know what happens when you write C+++ Qt code with web dev experience? Your mental model for memory management (which is non-existent because JS has GC), leads to memory leaks. It's so bad I had to: 1. rewrite most of the init code for member variables in almost all widgets so the expectation of "WidgetA" from "child C" of MainWindow is available when "WidgetB" emits a signal. 2. currently debugging memory leak when MainWindow is closed - huh?   To the beautiful person working on amdgpu drivers who managed to fix resume from sleep issues on 6.18.18 release, I love you!! Its been a day since I ran this version on my PC and I still haven’t run into the black screen issue. I am still worried it might trigger because workdays are a different beast (more brower tabs, lot of stuff running in background, etc.) but hopefully it goes well!! #linux #amdgpu #sleep

  Hey #linux #fediverse How do you handle HDR color oversaturation problem? Red is more like dark orange. Reddit and StackOverflow logos are not recognisable anymore in HDR mode. I have a Samsung Odessey IPS 27inch monitor. I tried reducing colors from OSD and it helped but the problem still exists. #askfedi

  Hey @kde with the recent birthdate field being introduced into systemd and the lead developer being obnoxiously stupid about it, Plasma desktop relying more on systemd feels wrong. Given the circumstances, I urge you to please reconsider systemd dependency on KDE platform and if possible, please think of alternatives. When you said X11 is getting axed from the codebase, I was ok with because Wayland has improved significantly over the years and offers more almost all the functionality from X11...

  Had fun playing #Cyberpunk2077 after a LOOOOOOOONG time. my netrunner V has either 2 modes - quickhacks or guns. No middle ground. (Is there anything else I wonder?) I need to re-learn how to grab people from behind so I can put them to sleep. I forgot the keybinding for it. Anyways, it was 3 hours well spent. #diary #gaming
