At this point, I'm convinced that the only customers for corporate software should be other corporations. People should build software and communities together, not have what they can do dictated by #BigTech. May we someday reach this world. #FOSS #democracy

Two weeks into the process, the three biggest downsides of migrating from Tuta and Tresorit to @protonprivacy@mastodon.social are: - no contact sync between my phone and my Proton account - no syncing of contact birthdays with the Calendar - no Drive app for #Linux Yes, I've voted on those features in the Proton User Voice portal. What are the best alternatives to #VSCode right now for #Linux? I'm using #VSCodium and have seen some language-specific products, but is there anything #FOSS with support for multiple languages *with a GUI*? I would like to give gvim a chance, but I don't want to spend more time on my #IDE than the project I'm working on. #LinuxMint #programming

Any personal recommendations for walking #shoes, preferably #European and #vegan? I've been having a rough time trying to find some that lock my heel properly since my heels are narrow. I had Brooks Glycerins that wore super well for me before they wore out, but I'm looking for alternatives. #running
