Puns that aren't very funny at all What did Linus Torvalds say after he completed work on the first Linux kernel? I’m Finnishd! Norway, you might say, that’s not a very good joke! Well, let me Sweden the deal with some more puns: Why did the programmer fail their Python test? Their skills were Rusty. What is John Programmer’s favourite superhero-themed golf club? The Flash Drive! What grade did the senior dev get in Computer Science? C, because their memory was unsafe. What is a...

Even more terrible puns! Why should you never invite a circuit board designer to prom? After the first write, they will leave you on read(-only mode) why? PROM is Programmable Read-Only Memory, which can be written to only once, after which it is read-only What does the maintainer say when asked whether one can contribute to their permissively licensed project? In some places, there's even locations where ecommerce deliv...

My understanding is (and I could be wrong on some details, I'm no political scientist!), communism is a broad idea for the end goal of a society with no class boundaries, no private ownership, workers (or a representative for them, in some models) owning the factories/"seizing the means of production", rights for all, everyone gets their fair share. There are many, very different ideologies for achieving such an ideal society. Additionally, different people have tacked on their o...

Here are some bad puns that are to do with data types. I’m sorry. Comment down some of your own concoctions! What does a programmer say when he is accused of lying? I promise I’m not boolean you! explanation of the puns “Fooling” sounds very similar to “boolean”, the latter being a data type commonly used when programming. Yes I will be explaining each and every pun. Yes, these puns are not very good at all, I’m not a professional comedian. The one in the title is a play on words, as “Charlot...
