ฯ€16 Our next featured creator is a baker. Describe a baked good you enjoy. I try not to eat baked goods often anymore because of my blood sugar, but probably the hardest to resist is a chocolate chip cookie, firm around the edges and chewy in the middle, with a balanced chip to cookie ratio. #ScribesAndMakers

Last call for Talk To Me Day featured creators. After this month, we have one person who will be featured in August, and then we plan to retire it unless anyone else is interested. PM @gahlearner@sunny.garden @willelm@indieauthors.social or @saposcat@indieauthors.social if you would like to be featured. #ScribesAndMakers #TTMD

โ„– 4 How many songs are there where you know all the lyrics by heart? Honestly, not that many. Mostly songs that don't have many words. I usually know some but not all of the words to songs I like. #ScribesAndMakers

โ„– 3 When you see the word 'read', is your first instinct to read it as present tense or past tense? Present tense, for sure. I'm not the biggest fan of words I have to know the context before I know how to pronounce it. #ScribesAndMakers

โˆ† 25. Our featured creator does "a bit of educational activism on the side." Do you do any activism through your creative work? I often work issues that are meaningful to me into the story, but I don't think of it as activism. I think of my writing as more likely to connect with people who share my views than change minds, but I'd certainly be happy if someone changed their views because of something I wrote. #ScribesAndMakers

โˆ† 10. Our next featured creator writes Science Fiction. What's a feature of Science Fiction that you find interesting? Space is vast, and the idea of exploring it, and that there might be other life somewhere in that vastness, is very intriguing. It's also very interesting to see how people approach solving the problem of traversing that vastness. #ScribesAndMakers

@johnyNocash@indiepocalypse.social and who knows, maybe my comment will lead to people reading the blog, and then going on to buy the book(s). Or maybe it will effectively render the whole post invisible and no one will know your blog or your book exist. Let's hope for the former...

@johnyNocash@indiepocalypse.social some potential future prompt fodder in there. Like who's directing the movie adaptation of your book, and have you recorded an original soundtrack for it yet? I've often seen the question what actors will star in your film (or television) adaptation, but less often who will direct it. And often which pre-existing songs will be in the soundtrack, but I don't know that I've ever seen have you recorded your own.
