  Found out about this yesterday. Installed the self-hosted version in #proxmox of course. Pretty cool considering netboot is kinda frustrating to setup otherwise (or at least it was for me, knowing nothing about it).   TIL I wasn't using context-mode efficiently in Pi.  That is wasting energy,  and consquenly money. So I am sharing this as it might help others who aren't experts in the usage of LLMs to protect their wallet and the environment I guess.   In #atomique everything has its own diskette (*). The logs (including crash logs) ? Logs: disk. App or system cache ? The Cache: it's a disk.   Yesterday’s installation of two #GotoSocial instances was the first time I used my home #Proxmox Cluster, not to learn, experiment or move old stuff but like I would with new instances at say OVH. As if I was a customer. And it really feels wonderful. Don’t have to think about instance sizes/pricing . Don’t have to worry about picking a backup option (all instances get backuped to other local PBS hosts unless specifically disabled). No wishing for confirmation emails, accesses.   @xjki I will be 51 this month and am in at similar place. I actually started to lose the train before LLMs. Just tired of relearning everything. Around SwiftUI I just slowed down dramatically. LLMs were surely the nail in the coffin. I dabbled with it to get code snippets or answers / directions but I reluct to use an IDE that controls everything through AI.   Happy I can finally use #XMPP with Renga on #Haiku . My prosody server didn’t listen on 5223 for direct TLS, only the modern STARTTLS on 5222. Added it and now it works with current built on HaikuDepot. Renga is algo getting fixed (in repo) by @pulkomandy@mastodon.tetaneutral.net so it should not be a problem in the future.
