While I don't have any big flashy updates for #ios27 right now, I did do a thing! The Sync universe keeps growing!

I'm so glad that I just make side apps on the side for fun as a hobby. As long as I make enough for my weekend pizza I'm good. I'll just hangout here on the sidelines and celebrate all the other #indiedev today.

I really wish you could add iMessage effects right after sending a message. I often forget to do or think about it right after it's delivered. If someone hasn't seen a message yet, for example, I'd like to be able to still add the hidden effect.

#swiftui never got an update to make TimelineProvider more async friendly and it's not coming with #Xcode27, so I finally got around to making my own incredibly lightweight wrapper. Feel free to checkout and use AsyncTimelineProvider. https://github.com/Rspoon3/AsyncTimelineProvider #iosdev #ios #swift

Congrats to @gregggreg for being this weeks app of the week with WalkStar: Move & Groove! Get motivated to move with the app that plays music only when you’re walking or jogging! If you stop, the music stops, so keep moving to continue the grooving. Don't forget to check it out and drop him a 5 star review! https://theapplottery.com #iOSDev #iOS #indiedev #swift

@mattiem Loved your post on package traits in Xcode. I’ve got a local package trait working via swift build --traits, but I can’t find any way to toggle it in the Xcode UI. Articles say it should be in the Package Dependencies view in Xcode 26.4, but I’m not seeing it. Right now the only way I've found is manually editing the traits array on the XCLocalSwiftPackageReference in the pbxproj. Am I missing something in the UI, or is that the only way currently?

Congrats to @lonnie for being this weeks winner with Relog: Task Logger! Have you ever wondered when you last fed your fish, took your medication or chatted with a friend? With Relog, you can keep track of when you last did things, and optionally be gently reminded when you haven’t done those things in a bit. I know Lonnie puts a lot of thought and effort into his work. Check it out and give it a review! https://theapplottery.com #iOSDev #iOS #indiedev #swift #swiftui #BuildInPublic

Congrats to @luckkerr for being this weeks lottery winner with MindGrid: A Logic Puzzle! MindGrid is a challenging logic puzzle game! In the game you’re provided with a set of predefined rows. Each of these rows provides clues, indicating how many tiles are correctly placed and how many are misplaced. Your goal? Use logic and deduction to determine the correct placement of colored tiles in a single attempt. Check it out and leave a review! https://theapplottery.com

Last night my finances iPad ended up in multi-window mode and she had no idea what happened or how to fix it. Looks like there’s still some work to do for the iPadOS team.

I built https://theapplottery.com to help indie devs get traction and reviews. Getting someone to review your app can feel like pulling teeth, so the idea is simple: devs help devs. Submit your app and each cycle a random app gets featured. Hoping if enough apps get added organically, the reach grows beyond just the developers submitting. Would love feedback! #IndieDev #iOSDev #AppDev #BuildInPublic #IndieApps
