  Missed Parkrun this morning so I went to the local oval and gave it some beans. Got a new 5K PB for my trouble - 21:46. My last PB was 21:53 way back in November. That was on a much hillier course, so this probably is not actually as much of a performance, but still. Pretty damn happy. #parkrun

Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander used to be my favorite games and I love how Spring RTS and now Beyond All Reason are keeping Total Annihilation alive.

  My file server is all buttoned up and has fans in front of the NVME SSDs now. When they're running they drop the SSD temperature from 35 to 25 degrees C, which is great. They're also pretty silent. (The fans aren't actually running in this picture, because I don't have a permanent power hookup for them yet. You'd think 12V is easy to come by inside a server chassis, but you'd be wrong...)

  @captainvellalives@lgbtqia.space So I've been doing my own computer touching today. I got these used SSD drives several months ago (ugh why is time) and had to fit them in my file server. Finally got around to modelling up a little mount for them. Then I had to do some amount of violence to get the controller card and cables to go where I need them. But now it's all in, and nothing has caught fire!
