@dansup@mastodon.social the most important thing a wise newbe should consider when picking is: who runs the instance? What kind of philosophies guide their mod decisions? What is the hosting setup (for reliability, regeonality and jurisdiction)? Do they block federation to anyone? would be cool if this enabled insight to that stuff.
