I met a person at last congress. They were interested in the visuals I was doing there. Some time later they told me they organize a drum n bass event in the south of Sweden. So now I'll be joining their crew the coming five days. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Anyone had any issues with their eyes because too much screen time? My eyelids start to twitch and my eyes get sore of I focus on something for too long.

Are there any computer monitors that are more ergonomic than others when it comes to being easier on your eyes? Alternatively if there are filters that you can use that helps your eyes.

When I was at the university we had a Swedish book in the algebra course. It's not a bad book but now that I decided to reboot mathematics I'd like to have a book in English. It's a bit unfortunate they decided to pick this book, especially since algebra is an important subject used in all subsequent fields, explaining concepts in Swedish is very unhelpful for future studies. Anyway, what's a good English algebra book in your opinion? #math #litterature

I went through my sticker box and picked out the hexagonal NGI ones. These are some of the projects that risk reduced to no funding when EU decides to put tax money into AI projects instead. #ngi #funding #foss

There are so many different branches in mathematics. Do you know of any resources that gives a good overview over them and how they are connected? Bonus points if it has historic references. #math #history

Newb impressions from an "experienced" Emacs user. I can't believe I didn't know about M-e and M-a, which steps forward/backwards a sentence.

I'd like to have some restart functionality when developing with python, e.g. a watcher that watches for changes and then restarts the script.
