    @arjenlubach@mastodon.social Kan wel op Youtube, maar dan kijken we de video via Freetube. Waarmee alle advertenties gestript worden en er geen gebruikersdata naar Google gaat. https://freetubeapp.io/#download helaas alleen voor de desktop. Soms werkt het even niet omdat Google tegenwerkt, maar dan komt er snel een update en werkt het weer.

    @barbarakathmann@mstdn.social @bnrnieuwsradio@mastodon.social Geen eigen ministerie lees ik. Idealiter is een minister van Digitale Zaken eentje die bij alle ministeries hoort. Heeft dus op alle ministeries een top-ambtenaar en die rapporteren dan weer in aan de minister van Digitale Zaken. Beetje omdenken is nodig, het gaat om Digitale Zaken. Klinkt een beetje als een vergadertijger maar als je een scherpe hebt dan ontwikkelt ze een neus voor de digitale kwetsbaarheden van elk beleidskwesti...

    @yetiinabox @quixoticgeek In the 2000s I was hired by a telecom company and heard that had a dozen or more Next-computers stored, out of use. I hooked them up with a befriended collector and he managed to save them all and load them in his red Citroën BX Break. Cubes, slaps, monitors, all in perfect condition. Over the years all the machines have found their way to a computer museum, hacker space or to other collectors (through marktplaats.nl).

    @libreoffice@fosstodon.org I wanted to ask for years. Is there a simple edition of LibreOffice? &quot;LibreOffice SE&quot; Or is there a way I can have all the options I don&#39;t use or don&#39;t understand thrown out? I would like to pay, perhaps others too. Am happy to contribute a bit to a crowdfunding.

    @kirschner @Gerbsen and if Germany would have spent that on free software the rest of the world could have saved also a lot of public money because that software would likely be also useful in other countries.

    I complained about the website of #Apple that there is no option to protest against the relation that Apple has with the Trump administration. You might want to do something similar.
