Different hellsite, same old rowmyboat. I’ve got a cute cat, a union card, ten bicycles, zero cars, and a house from the 1890s. #LibraryLife occasionally veers into hard left politics, bike bullshit, boat bullshit, and weirdlife personal tales.

@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I bought bread & eggs, as I was out of bread & thought I might go through the eggs I already had in. I have made popovers & biscuits. Toasted bread for cinnamon toast. Considering matzoh balls tonight. Tomorrow I might put together a baked French toast for Wednesday morning — but it will be old donuts from the freezer, not bread.

Love it when the bus is 20 minutes late, so you miss your connection, so an hour of your life disappears into a hole.

Srsly, unless you quite literally cannot do paper #books, put the hard copy of a popular novel on hold at the #library instead of waiting for your turn with the Libby #ebook. You will almost certainly get it faster in print. AND it’s better for your library. I’ve been on the wait list for a Libby book for a week or so & the current wait is 22 weeks. I put a hold on a paper copy this afternoon & it’s already in transit from elsewhere in my library’s consortium. #bookstodon
