Right now my dogs' favorite game is "you stand nearby holding a toy while we wrestle" Holding the toy is apparently an important part of the game, play stops if I put it down. Guess I should be happy they're including me at all....

If you hard-wrap lines in an outgoing email, you should go to jail. No email client in the entire history of computing has ever not been capable of wrapping lines of text to fit the window. Two million years dungeon for making me read your email like this in twenty goddamn twenty six. We solved this problem over half a century ago.

I really wish my brain and body would just fucking tell me when something is wrong. Instead I have to play goddamn neurotypical guessing games with myself. Like I made bacon and lost motivation to cook the rest of my breakfast which means I (casts dice) forgot my meds for (squints at clouds) two days and (rolls bones) I'm in pain and (crystal ball) I will be in a bad mood all day. Can't I just skip all that and receive a "u sad" message or something? What is th...

Every time I remember reading all five Hitchhiker's Guide books, I somehow get retroactively more disappointed. It's not just me, right? They were awful books. I mean I think that was kind of Adams's *point* in writing them, but I still kinda wish I'd spent that time reading literally anything else. Like, the bowl of petunias is a named character and the antihero to the entire story that absolutely nobody ever acknowledges in-world or out. Arthur can fly.

Boss called me a badass today. I got totally fixated on an interesting side quest and accidentally solved in two weeks an entire class of problems he's been mad about for years. We haven't even talked in weeks, he had no idea what I was working on until the solution showed up in his DMs unprompted.

It has been a dream since I was about 14 to own a Heathkit scope. It's beautiful. Even better, it's *broken* which means there's absolutely no reason in the world that I shouldn't tear it apart immediately.

Today is NOT the day for my emotional support steam deck to die. I can't handle this. I'm gonna go back to bed and cry. Yes, it's 10am and I'm already tapped out.

I know exactly who needs to hear this: "your frustration is understandable" is not the same as "I'm sorry, I fucked up" Put on your big boy pants and admit that you did something catastrophically wrong to somebody you claim to respect.

Always remember that "violence is never acceptable" is a lie pushed by people with the power to do *incredible* violence against entire populations. Please, for the love of everything good in the world, open a history book and make your own moral conclusions. *Any* history, *any* era, *any* culture. You will learn something very important about the nature of the world we live in.
