    The latest Oaklandside podcast really fell flat for me.     It&amp;#39;s now been 30 minutes since #github marked the incident on https://www.githubstatus.com/ as resolved, but the site is still serving 503&amp;#39;s for about half of all requests. Are there actually any engineers left working at that division of Microsoft, or did they replace them all with shitty LLMs and additional salespeople?

    Bus ride in today was on a little city bus instead of a coach. The only open seat was next to a middle aged dude who was sitting in the aisle seat but manspreading over both. When I nudged him, he let me sit down in the window seat and the proceeded to squish into me for the whole 30 minute ride, which he spent watching Fox News in PiP while he scrolled Twitter and painstakingly liked every one of the (many) bikini-clad thirst traps in his feed.
