It's kinda ironic that the LLM boom is what caused me to finally learn what em and en dashes do, and damn they're actually very useful

The way my family describes weekdays seems different than folks here in NL, and I'm not sure if it's Taiwan specific or just my family. "This Monday" is the Monday of the week we're currently in, even if it's in the past. "Next Saturday" is the Saturday of the next week, even if the Saturday this week hasn't passed yet, because that's "This Saturday".

I got to room 46 in Blue Prince and I haven't yet missed a parlour puzzle. Now I'm scared of breaking the streak.

Honestly this popup really bothered me. LibreWolf is asking me to switch my language settings to English for better privacy. This is after I already specifically didn't check the box to do that. I'm so tired of tech being English by default. Chinese has more L1 speakers so why not make that the default?

I hate it when upper management is convinced that a new workflow/tool is going to solve everything, and all evidence to the contrary is just people doing it wrong and should be fired, causing people to fabricate evidence that it works, thereby proving them right. This isn't even new, AI is just the latest one This isn't even unique to tech, this is what happened during the Great Leap Forward
