    It only took 3 months after I was forced to upgrade my office Mac to #macOS #Tahoe for me to figure how out to get the Character Viewer to again show me Unicode code points, and even then it may have taken me 20 minutes. I needed to add a couple Polish lastnames to a publications database, and did not have ź in my website&amp;#39;s text utilities lib. Sure I could have looked up on the Internets, but now I know what to do when I get around to upgrading my personal Macs to #GoldenGate sooner or...

    Saturday was designed to make me feel like a slacker… There was an #NYC #Groupskate in which at least 5 people started in the morning and rolled 100+ miles (a couple of them 120+). And over in Minnesota, there was the NorthShore Inline Marathon in which some other people I know rolled 26 miles in less than 70 minutes. My Saturday? I finally put on my skates around 9 p.m. and rolled a marathon distance in 190 minutes. #InlineSkating

    Out #InlineSkating in #NYC Thursday evening and, oh, hey, street resurfacing season has begun. Encountered a couple streets in lower Manhattan (Ave A and lowermost Mott St.) that had been milled, with new asphalt probably not going down for another couple weeks. This past winter did such a job on #NYC streets that I have been eagerly awaiting resurfacing. Really hoping NYC DOT will do Broadway near my apt as it&amp;#39;s been 7.5 years since that bit was last done.
