During the summer months, I love that I’m responsible for the gas bill, and he’s responsible for the electric. Winter…well, that’s a different story.

I started the month actually heeding the reminder and giving my dogs their flee/tick/heartworm chews on time. So, as you can imagine, I'm feeling pretty good about myself today.

My insurance company's pharmacy group called me and asked me to provide my birth date so that they could talk with me about my prescriptions. For security. THEY CALLED ME. And somehow they think this is a good security procedure. It was probably legit, but NO, I'm not going to support a process that expects their customers to engage in poor infosec practices.

I just recently joined Facebook exclusively to participate in some maker groups. I'm a little surprised, maybe put off, by how many people's profile pic include what I assume to be their spouse/partner/sigOther. Is this a thing? This strikes me as odd, particularly since my interest there is not social. Is this code for "I'm taken" or more like people putting their brand on their Facebook-faring partner so everyone knows to keep the f*** away???

Why are we even having a conversation about a 79-year-old candidate for a 6-year seat in congress??? https://nebraskaexaminer.com/2026/03/30/nebraska-dem-senate-candidate-voted-for-trump-attended-conservative-training-session/

“When they go low, we go high” didn’t work. I believe we need to vote YES to redistricting in Virginia. Fair warning: this isn’t the last time I’ll say this.

I just finished listening to the oral arguments in the birthright citizenship case before the Supreme Court. I truly hope that when John Sauer speaks, it hurts just as much as it sounds it does.

@macosken Went to the Apple Store to see these this weekend. They're nice. I don't need one, but if I hadn't just bought a new laptop for my workshop last year, I'd probably get one of these.

So Paramount has killed Starfleet Academy before its second season even airs. Why? Because of low viewer ratings fueled by a homophobic smear campaign and haters who'd suspiciously never previously posted much but suddenly had a lot to say?

Well, that’s one way to screw with elections at the 11th (9th) hour. The beauty of this Texas stay is that it could benefit Talarico, who likely has a better chance of unseating the republican candidate than Crockett. Manipulative ≠ smart.
