    Nice stack! What&#39;s the crab logo? I don&#39;t recognize it. Do you notice a **massive** increase in request latency (like 10x-50x) when using a CloudFlare tunnel vs connecting directly to your IP? I&#39;ve experimented with it a few times, but it really negatively impacts QoS for me, *especially* with federated services (like Matrix) where there are lots of small requests.

    I was thinking of the [30 Pin Dock Connector](https://apple.fandom.com/wiki/30-pin_dock_connector), which was proprietary, but it looks like it used both FireWire and USB protocols. Apple was known for helping propagate FireWire too.

    Ah, the Apple strategy of forcing a standard. EDIT: By that I mean when Apple started putting USB (1.0) on their Macs back in the day to encourage more USB accessories. Not their proprietary (what was the old iPod connector called?) or lightning BS.
