  I never really thought about it but, maybe one of the thing preventing innovation in games is the lack of console different ports by this I mean,let's look at sonic colours for example On the wii, its 3d. On the ds its 2d as, the ds isn't powerful enough to emulate a wii 3d environments, so they have to make work around hire another team to make the port. Like a b team. And hey maybe now there a bit more experience with the ds hardware and want to make a game as thats a popular...
